Peplin is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LEO Pharma, an independent, research-based pharmaceutical company based in Denmark.  Peplin is headquartered in Emeryville, California with operations in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and a manufacturing facility in Southport, Queensland.

Our core technology is a novel class of naturally occurring compounds which show significant potential as anti-cancer agents for a wide range of human cancers. The lead compound in this technology, PEP005 (ingenol mebutate), or PEP005, is in Phase 3 trials for the treatment of actinic keratosis (AK), sometimes known as solar keratosis or sunspots, a common pre-cancerous lesion.

Peplin retains sole rights to develop and market PEP005 and has extensive international patent coverage over its technologies.
